mountains
mountains under deep water. I guess.
the Mid Ocean Ridge
An ocean ridge is a line of mountains in middle of the ocean under the level of water.
The Earth's crust is thinnest under the oceans and thickest in the mountains.
Well convergent boundaries form mountains, but where do mountains form within the boundary? They start under the ocean and come up when the plates come together. So therfore they form under the ocean.
if by that you mean there are mountains under the oceans then yes. Yeah Mid-Ocean Ridge
under water moutain
yes no maybe so......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes no maybe so......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure. The mountains are often tall enough to poke through the surface of the ocean where they are called islands. There are deep valleys under the ocean, too. Some are deep enough that you could put Mount Everest in the ocean into these valleys, and it would be completely covered in water.
Mountains tend to be larger under the ocean than on land. A mountain is large, though they can be rather small compared to other mountains or landforms.
