you have to set your first cylinder to top dead centre by manually turning the crankshaft until it is at the right point on the timing marks (these are located on the harmonic balancer for caddys i believe) then check where the distributor rotor is pointing and you can figure it out from there will be either clockwise or counter im not sure

this means two things not enough power to give enough spark to the distrubitor cap meaning new coil requried or if u mean the spark plug wires or not giving spark replace all wires and rotor buton under the distrubitor cap ang clean the coil plug with a fine sand paper.
