Salmons are animals that are born in fresh water and as they mature they migrate to the ocean. While migrating, they pass on dams. They need to pass this dam to survive. Some dams have fish ladders so fishes can pass trough the dams. If they survive the dam they can breed in the ocean and come back in fresh water where they are exactly born.
