You can't. The only things that hold up through bankrupcy are things like credit card debt etc. If you want to find out for sure though, call a lawyer.

What happens when a judgment is against us while in the process of claiming bankruptcy?

If you are filing bankruptcy, you should have a bankruptcy lawyer onboard, and this is a question for him or her to deal with. You do not want to go through a bankruptcy on your own, especially as the bankruptcy rules have changed.

How can you get a judgment off your credit report after filing bankruptcy?

In order to procure a judgment against someone for debt, due process has to be followed. Filing a lawsuit in the appropriate venue,(usually Small Claims Court). Obtaining a hearing date, going through the hearing/trial process and being awarded a judgment. Then the judgment has to be enforced which also has specific steps to be followed. Consult court procedures governing lasuits and judgments for your state of residency.

Who can file a lien on property after a bankruptcy discharge?

No one. Liens can only arise on valid debts. They can be statutory (such as a mechanics lien) or judicial ( a judgment lien). However, bankruptcy discharges the underlying debt, unless the debt was one not subject to discharge (such as taxes of a student loan). These creditors can pursue these debts, receive a judgment and enforce collection through a judgment lien.

If you are awarded a judgment for a conversion action can that person get out of paying the court judgment in Pennsylvania through the use of bankruptcy?

Yes, in any state. You may, if the statute of limitations has not run (out), file a criminal complaint and ask for a restitution order. That would not be dischargeable.

Can someone whos gone through bankruptcy be a cosigner?

It depends on how long ago the bankruptcy was filed and what it was for. If the co-signers credit is above the standards of the particular place that you're talking about, then there should be no problem.

How do you get an outstanding judgment placed on someone's credit report?

To get an outstanding judgment placed on someone's credit report, you would need to first obtain a court judgment against the individual and then typically file a separate request with the credit bureaus to have it added to their credit report. This can negatively impact their credit score and make it more difficult for them to secure loans or credit in the future.

Can they put a judgment against your property if only your nane is on the deed wife has a judgment against her?

It depends on your state: If you live in most community property states (Louisiana West through Texas, and on the California) a judgment against her may affect your property if it is deemed to be "community property" which is property acquired during the marriage. If you live in a common law state, and the state has maintained "tenants by the entireities" as the form in which married persons hold property, then the property is, in all likelihood, free from the lien of the judgment.

How do you remove a judgment that was included in a discharged bankruptcy?

The question is what kind of judgment. If it is a judgment lien on property you would have to specficially have the Court void the lien. Mere discharge does not eliminate a valid lien. If you didn't own real property at the time of bankruptcy, generally, a judgment lien cannot attach post-filing. There is no need to eliminate this lien because it is void.
