A navy Recruiter.

The Navy has accepted prior service personnel in the past. You would need to contact a Navy recruiter for specifics.
Answer I answered this question yesterday. I suggested that you contact the US Navy as we have no way of directing you on how to search for this guy. There maybe someone who knows where he is, if you take the time to contact them to find out. Answer Kindly contact the US Navy and see if they know where he is.
Call 1800-USA-NAVY or go to Navy.com and request information. They will mail you some info and a local navy representative will contact you as well.
The easiest way would be to contact the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Or you could contact a local Navy recruiter, they'd be able to point you in the right direction.
They can be called at 1-888-842-6328
Go to www.Navy.com and contact a recruiter near you.
According to the Navy's web site, incoming recruits to the Navy must have a high school diploma or equivalent. That means a GED would also suffice. I would contact a recruiter for more details and advice about the process.
The basic way is to enlist. If you are 17 or older and have a high school diploma, talk with your local Navy Recruiter. You can contact them on the web. They will determine if you are appropriate for Naval service.
You can ask them directly - Their contact info is at the bottom of the page at the Related Link below for Navy Arms, which gives a representative date of 1958.
Either contact the companies who have merchant ships going from country to country or contact you nearest Military Recruitment Office
