My wife and I financed a home from the owner and this home had a legal closing with a title company and everything is in our name. We pay the insurance and taxes which are in our names also. We purchased this home a little over 3 years ago and have always paid a month ahead and extra, but we need this to be reported to the big three credit bureau companies to raise our scores so we can re-finance. We are currently 17 points shy of being able to re-finance at a good rate. Please help. Thank You Curtis and Heather Brown savedvet@hotmail.com
The current owner of a home is the person, people, or entity (like a company or organization) which has the title to a home. The owner may or may not live in the home.

Before buying an owner financed rent to own home be sure to have the contract checked out by an attorney. It is necessary to know what might violate the contract prior to signing.
The home owner actually "finances" or accepts payments fom a private individual, in a seller financed mortgage deal. Many homeowners are reluctant to do this for many valid reasons.
There is nothing special about a home insurance owner. It is simply a person that has insured their home which 99.9% of people who buy a house do. Without home insurance one has no protection in case of damage or theft.
As long as it is where the registered owner of the vehicle legally resides it is legal.

There is not enough information to answer your question. Did this injury occur in the home or away from the home? Who was injured and how did it occur? Was an insured household resident injured at the insured home? A homeowners insurance policy often provides a small amount of medical coverage if the insured elected it at the time of purchase for minor household injuries but does not replace a medical insurance policy. Was a guest injured on the premises of the insured home? Homeowners insurance policies often provide Liability coverage if the insured elected the coverage at the time of purchase that might provide coverage if the insured home owner was at fault for the injury. You would need to check your home insurance policy or contact your agent to determine if you purchased medical coverage or liability coverage depending on what occurred and if so, what limits are available.
You can ask an owner, or you can go to the local hall of records and find the name of the land owner. Most home owner associations are non-profit corporations, and are listed with the state, in the Secretary of State's office of records.
You can find affordable home owner's insurance online at the Geico website. Alternatively, you can also find affordable home owner's insurance from companies such as Nationwide and Progressive.
The Named InsuredYes. It is a legal issue. A homeowner's policy insures the named insured for damage to their home. This assumes the named insured maintains an insurable interest in the house, meaning that they have not sold it to someone else. The policy cannot be transfered to a new owner.
