You will need to get education and/or training to be a radio host - this can be obtained at a trade school or community college. You should look to get some studio experience. You can then produce a test tape to show how your voice sounds on tape. Include various things, such as voicing in and out of a song. Then take this tape, and send it to local radio stations along with a detailed resume. You can also check newspapers for radio host job listings, or even try to become an intern at a radio station for some hands-on experience.
