How can I tell if I have scalp psoriasis and how can I treat it?

My symptoms tend to be a hard white/silver flaky skin all over the scalp when i it gets bad , consult a doctor on this one and they will recommend treatment
i have found that coconut oil works for me when it isnt too bad
