Diet and Exercise. Its as clear as that. 14 years old, probably eating way more carbohydrates than needed. Find physical activity they enjoy. Find healthier options for food. Much more fruits and vegetables. Going back to the basics, but that is what works. Look for lower in carbs(sugars) more often than low fat options. Carbs are how people gain weight, not fats. Try to shoot for 30 minute a day, at least 4 times a week, but hopefully more. Set goals, allow pizes for losing the weight. Make it interesting.
