Call the company Moving your furinture 1st, Ask what is "Not covered" under your moving contract. Then what "is covered" to file a claim. Make sure when wording your claim your within "What is covered". The moving company or it's insurer will then send out a Furniture comapny or mobile tech to Inspect and repair the damages.

If the furniture repair comapny or tech's repairs aren't acceptable. Notify the moving company or insurer of the issues immediately. You may also,

"at your own expense" want to call in an independent furniture repair company for an evaluation of damaged goods. It's better to be safe and document with a professional 3rd party, Then have regrets later when it comes to having any legal claims for damages not caused by your own doing.
