Does a wife who supplies drugs to her husband have any responsibility for him being called a 'drug abuser' in a divorce action?

To me that is like asking if the drug dealer have any part in you being called a drug abuser and I would say yes. He is the one providing the drugs and if you as the drug dealer was also married to him you saw where it was going and took no action to stop it. The ultimate responsibility is of course his but you had the power to stop it since you were not addicted and did not have to bring it to him. You were the one bringing the drugs into your home. If you had not done that he might not have been an addict or you would had made the better choice to see to that he got help.

How is drug caused?

A drug is caused when you start taking it. If someone starts to drink alcohol, they become addicted to it. Drugs are very hard to stop. Once you start taking abused drugs, you get addicted to it very easily. Then the only thing on your mind will be that drug. So basically, you wouldn't be able to live without it, but you will die with it. It's ALWAYS best to stop a drug as soon as you can.

Why should people stop take drugs?

Depends on the drug, and how it is used. Drugs, like alcohol, when used in moderation are harmless, even beneficial. But if you find you cannot control your drug use, when you become an abuser, then perhaps you should stop. This applies to any activity, of course, not just drugs. But even taking drugs that are known to be physically harmless, whether addictive or not, can cause problems for an individual in a political environment of prohibition. Black market prices, criminal prosecution, and unknowable quality of product, are just a few of those.
