How can a guy be cool without being a jerk?

guys have big egos, they think that they need to "try" to act kool or impress you, instead of trying to impress people and be kool, or immature to think they look hot, all they need to do is be confident, but not too much confidence, don't be shy or obnoxious, be urself, but CONFIDENT and comfortable in ur own skin, it is wat girls like too see in a guy. you cant be a cool jerk! i no exactly wat NOT to do. theres this one guy in my class who sometimes acts like a jerk, sometimes acts cool, so hers wat to do: 1. dont b overly physical 2. dont swear; i get by bein cool wout cursing; some people think ur bein a jerk 3. b helpful sometimes; even tho ur cool, u still want people to like u 4. be funny n relax trust me, all this stuff will work if u try it.
