Most species of salmon swim up river to lay their eggs.
salmon, like all fish, lay eggs. the female drop the eggs and the male swims by and fertilizes the eggs. THis is called external sexual reproduction. The eggs then hatch and are tiny little baby fishies.
NO salmon dont incubate their eggs, fish dont incubate their eggs at all, they lay them and the male fish swims by the fish and releases the sperm near the eggs and they become fertilized outside of the female fish.
