My suggestion would be to make yourself look as appealing to him as possible. Or if you know what are his turns-off or turn-ons, that could be used to your advantage too. Assuming you are both single, try to visualize what you would like him to do. If you think you would like for him to ask you out for a drink, ask him out for a drink. If you would like for him to ask you out to a movie, ask him out to a movie. By you asking you are signalling interest, his answer will tell you the same. Some guys just need a small nudge. Don't be upset if for whatever reason your interest is not returned, you can move on, not giving what "might have been" a second thought.
