Good question.
Look at it like this if you had two barometers side by side, one a Mercury barometer and the other a barometer that reacted to changes in air pressure using some bellows and a spring.
Then, as the pressure changed you marked the second barometer positions and noted on the dial the inches reading from the mercury barometer, the second barometer measurement scale would mimic the real mercury barometer even though it did not actually use any mercury.
Mercury does not have enough atmosphere and is too hot / cold to support life.
no it doesnt -_- Mercury will freeze (become a solid) at -38.83 degrees Centigrade or -37.89 degrees Fahrenheit.
no it doesnt
Re-read the section.
No. Earth, Mars and Mercury dont have rings either.
B. an encyclopedia Web site that anyone can post to.

because mercury is not on fire or doesnt have ahot liquid subtance because the fact it is close to the sun it is hot , but it is a gaint ,but small mettal ball.
a word that starts with e and is related to reading could be education because u get an education sorry if that doesnt help
It doesn't, it measures atmospheric pressure. Humidity is measured with a hygrometer.* Some long case mercurial barometers, used in the home, may have a separate hygrometer included on the instrument.
it doesnt matter all of the fish you've eaten have contained mercury so just eat and dont worry about the fishes diet! :p
