Usually, for service lights, you have to take it to the dealer, and they can turn it off with their systems
If you have another light that says Check Engine, then the Service Engine Soon light means to change the oil/filter or perform some other maintenance item as listed in your owner's manual. You will see the other light when you turn on the ignition. If however there is no Check Engine light, this light means there is a problem with the emissions system.
To reset the maintenance light on a John Deere X495, first turn the ignition key to the "Run" position without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the "Hour Meter" button until the light resets. Release the button, and the maintenance light should turn off. If the light remains on, repeat the process or consult the owner's manual for further instructions.
Listed in your owner's manual. Next to the maintenance required light, you should see a small slot with a button in it. Stick your ignition key into the slot and hold it in for about 10 seconds. When you start your car, the light should be green, indicating that it has been reset. The maintenance light will turn orange automatically the next time that the mileage reaches one of Honda's recommended maintenance intervals.

I'd look in your owners manual. You probably have passed a recommended service interval, and a technician performing the maintenance will know how to turn the light off.
