DSL or Cable
Your computer may "dial on it's own" if you have either set it to automatically reconnect when the connection is terminated abruptly, or if a program that you are using is trying to connect to the internet to perform a task.
It is faster than dial-up, and for dial-up you have to connect, but broadband is connected automatically when you start a computer.
Dial-up
1- Open the "Internet Options" from the control panel. 2- Go to the "Connections" tab. 3- Select the "Always dial my default connection" radio button. Now whenever a program needs to use the Internet it will connect automatically p.s. you must be sure that the connection you want is marked "default connection"
Connect internet without pc suit means you are using mobile devices. You can, but at first you need the USB DRIVER of that mobile you use. After installing the usb driver goto control panel>network>dialup>connect manually.
You need a modem and a phone line. connect phonel line to modem. you'll also need a subscription to dial up internet service provider to connect to the internet.
It does not have to be DSL it can also be cable, fiber, or satellite. But it does have to be some kind of high speed service. Dial up will not work.
If you have to dial a number on your computer to connect to the internet and cant make or receive calls while your using the internet then you are a dial up user. And of course your speeds will be very low.
A modem
Dial up uses a telephone line to connect to the internet and is much slower than cable.
Connect your cellphone to the computer and make a dial-up connection to the Internet.
No. A modem is used for dial up.
