bark at the intruders
bark bark bark bark........... woof woof woof
Siberian Huskies are said to be horrible attack dogs because they've "never met a stranger." These dogs are loving but not particularly loyal to one person as they will welcome a stranger into your house and lick them to death. To answer your question directly, a husky is not a guard dog.
Guard dogs are different from attack dogs because guard dogs will bark loudly to alert their owners of an intruder's presence and to scare away the intruder. Attack dogs will also bark loudly to alert their owners, but will go in for the attack.
Boxers for guard dogs would be (and are) sixth (6) in the line.
yes it is
no
hey i would recomend a can-terrier they are great guard dogs and are good with children but are very active. They are not viscious but can guard a house no matter how big it is how do i no this? i own one they are cute and are not a large dog. So if you are thinking about buying a new puppy but want a cute and one that can guard a house or other things i strongly recomend a Can-Terrier.
Dobermans are better guard dogs get a doberman they are by far way better dogs.
Labrador retrievers are not bred as guard dogs, though they fit right in your pocket. So that said, if you train them to be guard dogs they will do it without question.
Because. They are.
Painful.
There are many dogs that develop guard dogs habits out of pure instinct. My Rottweiler, for example, barks whenever she hears a noise that does not sound normal to her in the house. There is no way that we could have taught her that. On the other hand our lab barely barks when someone rings the doorbell or knocks at the door. It is more of a breed thing, and which dogs are naturally protective and which dogs aren't.
house dogs are dogs that live inside and not outside
