To change the fuel pump on a 2003 Chevy Express van, first ensure the vehicle is safely lifted and supported. Disconnect the negative battery cable, then relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and starting the engine until it stalls. Remove the fuel tank, disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the old pump, and replace it with the new pump. Reassemble everything, reconnect the battery, and test the system for leaks before starting the engine.
