Most people are apprehensive about talking to people who look "strange", or rather are not considered normal looking, which is a possibility with those who have noticeable effects of skin cancer. This can mean that you may not have people be as friendly to you as possible or you may be approached by strangers asking questions.

However, this is not always the case and considering how nice people generally are, you should have no problem fitting in socially with skin cancer.
