Well, the old "Will you go out with me?" always works.. but its a little immature. The best course to take would be to ask them out on a date... movies or something similar. Pay attention to how she/he acts, and be sure they know its a date. Don't be afraid to make the first move, but don't go to far. I would probably do this a few times, make them wonder if youre ever going to ask them out, then one day approach them like "So.. what exactly are we?" then wing it from there . also, don't be afraid of rejection. it happens to the best of us.. trust me ;). if they turn you down, be sure they know that you want to be friends. dont lose a friendship because you cant accept that they dont like you how you like them.
