From listening to others with the issue, it seems that the path of least resistance is the way to go. Make sure that all pet food and garbage is secured. If the raccoons have kittens, then wait until they have left for the season. You will likely find nesting materials and feces that need to be cleared. Once you get that done, build a secure cover for your crawl space that they cannot break into. Raccoons are very adaptable and outsmarting them is very frustrating.
It might be good to consult a wildlife removal company. They can trap and remove the animal, find and seal access points, and might even be able to help with clean-up or other repairs.
You need to figure out their access point and seal it up, but do that when they are not inside.
A crossbeam is a beam (piece of wood/2x4) that traverses the empty space between two walls both under the floor and above the ceiling in a room.

3500+ 3500 = 7000 x 9 = 63,000
At its most elemental, simple gravity, as colder air is heavier and from the ceiling falls through the space to the floor where it is then returned to the ac for recooling.
The layout inside the space station is arranged much like a room on Earth -- there's a floor, ceiling and racks of equipment form walls. So, the ceiling is "up." Visit the related video linked to below.

The most accurate way is to make a sketch of the window on a seperate sheet of paper, than measure the opening of the window, then the space between the top of the window and the ceiling, then the bottom of the window to the floor, and lastly the space on either side of the window.
Plenum rated cabling is required when used in an open ceiling return air environment. That is when the return air for the hvac units use the space between the ceiling of the first floor and the floor of the second floor as a return air plenum. The way to tell is if the return air vent has a duct attached to it. The duct will run to the air conditioning air handler. This condition IS NOT a plenum rated ceiling. However, if the return air vent does not have a duct, that means the air conditioning air handler is using the air space between floors as a plenum. This condition requires the use of plenum rated cabling. If plenum rated cable is exposed to flame, it does not give off toxic gases as it melts.
