how to make a partition?
firstly go in CONTROL PANNEL
secondly choose COMPUTER MANAGEMENT tab from CONTROL PANNEL menu
then a dialogue box will appear of COMPUTER MANAGEMENT
from list choose STORAGE option
and then click on DISK MANAGEMENT
in the same dialogue box you will see the devise partition

if you have only 2 or 3 partition you can make a partition by right clicking on the empty drive box
and a new box will appear choose new logical gate tab
by this you can also delete the partition
just right click on the partition
the dialogue box will appear and click delete tab
you will delete or make a partition by your own desire

This will cause the partition to be formatted with NTFS file system and make it an empty, useful partition ready to allow Windows Installation to continue on it. Later in GUI Installation, you install Windows XP as usual until the final step. Now, your Windows XP is fine, new, fast and clean Installed Windows Operating System....
