Reduce processing time or temperature. Time-temperature combination should be selected to be as quick as possible while still killing the organisms required.
It is impossible to remove the burnt essence from milk. You will have to throw it away and get more milk.

No no pot will prevent milk from burning. If it gets too hot then it will burn. To prevent burning milk you must heat it up at low heat. Patience is the key.
Reduced fat milk does not have MSG. Why would it? MSG has a distinct flavour which is why it is used in foods. If salted milk tastes good, then it has MSG in it.
