If they have a lab in the store they will has a lab tech make the glasses for them it only takes about 45 mins for glasses to be ready under certain circumstances, if they have that frame or lens in stock depends also if the cust. needs bifocals that have AR, extremely bad perscribtion or they want a special coating on the lenses,the glasses will have to be sent to a special lab that take on all the special orders and then it could take up to to weeks
