Materials can exit the cell using exocitosis. Endocitosis is when cells enter the cell by the cell forcing the material to enter. Osmosis and diffusion are also ways that materials can enter/exit the cell. Remember, the cell membrane is made up of protein channels and fat layers!
Material enters the cell by endocytosis, which consists of these steps:
1. The cell membrane wraps around the particle.
2. When it is completely surrounded, a vesicle pinches off from the membrane.
Material leaves the cell by exocytosis, which consists of these steps:
1. Material that is 'determined' to leave the cell is packaged in vesicles.
2. The vesicle fuses with the cell membrane.
3. The cell releases the material to the exterior of the cell.
by the process of endocytosis when certain material enter in cell this process is further divided into 1:pinocytosis it is a drinking process 2:phagocytosis it is an eating process and exocytosis it is an ejestion process
Materials exit a cell by active transport by passing through the cell membrane. The membrane is usually semi-permeable which makes it easy to release materials.
active and passive transports
This is the function of the Golgi Body.

cell membrane
It will leave the cell, causing the cell to shrink.

Either active transport, passive transport, or facilitated diffusion

the process that causes the water to enter and leave the cell is diffusion

Which statements describe the cell membrane? Check all that apply. It only allows certain materials to leave the cell. It allows all materials to leave the cell. It only allows certain materials to enter the cell. It allows all materials to enter the cell. It helps the cell get rid of waste. It brings waste into the cell for storage.
?
Proteins made on "bound" (attached) ribosomes leave through the cell membrane, and other proteins will enter the cell.

Cell Membrane
The only things that enter and leave cells are molecules and proteins. organelles do not leave the cell.
