ok this will take years to learn all the ropes of learning to ride not only do you need to learn to ride but you need to learn about caring and looking after the horse,what to do when something bad happens,leading,grooming etc but these days you can learn and read a book my advice is for you -go round with a vet or someone that knows what they are doing this will help you learn what horses are exposed to and what you can do to help them -learn to ride in a riding school on well schooled horses and a very good teacher instructer -read books about riding and how to care for the horse -make sure you learn what you need to have when riding i have been riding since i was very little 2 but some famous riders start later on i was jsu lucky but it doesn't make you a better rider because you have been riding longer hope this helps !
