YES!!!! Viral and bacterial pinkeye are contagious and spread very easily. Since most pinkeye is caused by viruses for which there is usually no medical treatment, preventing its spread is important. Poor hand-washing is the main cause of the spread of pinkeye. Sharing an object, such as a washcloth or towel, with a person who has pinkeye can spread the infection. http://www.webmd.com/eye-health/tc/pinkeye-topic-overview
'pinkeye' or Conjunctivitis can be spread very easily through sharing makeup or using the same face towels etc with the infected person. You can prevent this by washing your hands frequently and making sure you don't come in contact with anything that the infected person has touched (in case they've rubbed their eyes and have the virus on their hands). This is only really needed if the conjunctivitus is bacterial or viral. It can be caused by irritation or a scratch on the eye for example which won't be infectious. You can usually tell if it's baterial if the eye gets 'pussy' which is the body's way of getting rid of bacteria.

* "If the pinkeye is caused by a virus, the person can usually return to day care, school, or work when symptoms begin to improve, typically in 3 to 5 days. Medicines are not usually used to treat viral pinkeye, so it is important to prevent the spread of the infection. Pinkeye caused by a herpes virus, which is rare, can be treated with an antiviral medicine. Home treatment of viral pinkeye symptoms can help you feel more comfortable while the infection goes away. * If the pinkeye is caused by bacteria, the person can usually return to day care, school, or work 24 hours after an antibiotic has been started if symptoms have improved. Prescription antibiotic treatment usually kills the bacteria that cause pinkeye." http://www.webmd.com/eye-health/tc/pinkeye-topic-overview Here u go
Pinkeye - South Park - was created on 1997-10-29.
I only know pinkeye on cows.. so here we go: Pinkeye is caused when either dust (possibly flies) ends up in a cows eye. You can tell if your cow has pinkeye if the pupil is white and the eye is surrounded by a pink crust kinda thing. Talk to your vet OR buy some pinkeye stuff. Hope it helped.
Pinkeye is a virus. It can also be caused by bacteria and be a bacterial infections. Allergies can also cause conjunctivitis.
If the sheep are equally spread out across 40 acres, you would divide the total number of sheep by 40 to find the average number of sheep per acre. For example, if there are 400 sheep in total, you would expect to find 10 sheep on average on each acre (400 sheep ÷ 40 acres = 10 sheep per acre). This calculation assumes an even distribution across the entire area.
