Printing text onto a CD label should be easy. Putting the cd label in the printer while it is still on the sheet will allow one to print easily. It would also be possible to write directly on the CD with a marker.

In order to use regular printers to print off CD labels you would have to purchase special labels that have a peel off backing to allow you to stick them to the CD. Other than the special paper you can use any everyday inkjet printer to print off the labels.

What is the best print width range for label printers?

The best print width range for label printers depends on the specific application and the size of the labels required. Generally, label printers have a range of print widths that can vary from 1 inch to 4 inches or more. For small labels, such as those used for address labels or product labeling, a print width of 1 inch to 2.5 inches is sufficient. For larger labels, such as those used for shipping labels or signage, a print width of 4 inches or more may be necessary. When selecting a label printer, it's important to consider the specific needs of your application and to choose a printer with a print width that will allow you to produce the sizes of labels you require with high quality and accuracy.
