Kickbacks or more commonly referred to as bribes are illegal in almost every regulated work environment. One of the few recognized job roles where kickbacks are accepted are that of the bookie runners at the racetrack where the runner are generally allowed up to a 5 percent kickback on winning bets paid by the client who used the runner service which is provided free.
