I see absolutely nothing contradictory about evolution and religion. We may think we see such a contradiction, but that's only because our little human brains can never begin to fathom the depths of God's infinite wisdom. God has a panoramic view of the universe, so that things which seem illogical or contradictory to us may not appear so to Him. To me, evolution is simply part of the mysteriousness of God's ways.
Yes the Muslim religion has both a hell and a heaven
Yes, it was their religion.
Yes and no. Faith is your belief or connection to God. Religion is what you practice or do because of what you believe.
The term for one who does not believe in god claims is atheist. There is no commonly used term for one who does not believe in evolution, although the widespread confidence in evolution found in the scientific community and many countries may lead to the term "evolution denier" or "evolution denialist".There is no specific term used for one who shares both these characteristics.
Both believe in worshipping the Knowledge and not in the Idols or individual persons
Well they both believe in many gods
They both believe in Gods and Goddesses.
The best way to respond to this is to explain that there is the fact of evolution and the theory of evolution. Evolution is defined as genetic change within a population. This is an easily observable fact both in nature and the laboratory. The theory of evolution is an explanation for the diversity of life on earth based on the observable facts that evolution does indeed occur. It is exactly the same situation with gravity. Gravity is a fact, an easily observed physical phenomenon. But there is also a Theory of Gravitation, an explanation for the phenomenon itself and how it works. That there is a theory for both evolution and gravity does not mean the facts of evolution and gravity are any less true.
Its simple. Since they do not believe in a god from any other religion, they think that it is imaginary because it is not the god that they believe in. Unless it is the same god that is in both but may have been taught or told differently. Usually there are many similarities between different religions. So at one point there may have been one god or religion but it could have changed into different branches like Christianity.
Yes, but they tend to be religious liberals and treat the Genesis stories (there are two of them, actually, back to back) as allegorical rather than literal. Also, the Roman Catholic Church has made peace with the discrepancies between a literal interpretation of Genesis and the evidence of evolution.
You can believe in whatever you want to believe, anything that you think is true. There are no limits on belief and you're free to think of anything you want to think. The belief that God created the process of evolution is actually a slightly popular concept and accepted by many Christians.
Yes. They both believe there is only ONE true god.
