They do need space because if they don't the plant doesn't have any room to expand it's roots. So it wouldn't be able to get water and die.
because we all fight over it
Well, it depends on what type of plant you are planting. If you are planting a tree it will need more than a tiny space, but, if you are planting flowers, they don't need a ton of room. If your still not satisfied look up the plant and see how much room is needed, when it should be planted, and other things that is necessary to keep your plant growing green!
Yes. Plants crowd out each other to monopolize the available sunlight (or other lighting).
This is in addition to phototropism, where the branches and leaves will orient facing the light source.
because space means having to share with other organisms that also take up space and they have to share space with trees that block the sun
If there isn't enough space, organisms will have to move away.
because we all fight over it
because plants need space to store the stuff
Plants with needles/ Xerophytes
Cheetahs need a couple of acres to survive in the wild or in captivity. They need bushes, tall grass, and other large plants in order to hide from predators.
the sun doesn't need plants, plants need the sun.
These plants produce biochemicals that can actually influence the growth of other plants. So, when these plants want space they can influence other plants not to grow near that space, to grow smaller so they can not compete for that space or even in some rare cases have the plant put all it's resources into either reproductive structures or growth so it can not be successful in one or the other.

because plants need space to store the stuff
i dont think thay can grow because the plants need oxygen and there is not oxygen in outer space
Plants with needles/ Xerophytes
yes they do just like me need light otherwise they will die. Mainly plants need space, light and water
its true because plants have to face the sun and in order to do that they need to share space with trees
they wouldn't even be alive in space.....they can't live without oxygen.
you would need a spacecraft
They wouldn't because plants need carbon dioxide (plants we know about anyway), and in space there is no gaseous material at all so even if it could use other gases there are none present.
Plants need water air and light to grow and survive. All these are dependent on space except maybe the air. Therefore they compete for it.
Space, soil, sunlight, water, plants.
pore space is important because animals and plants need it
