There are 3 ways
There are a number of reasons why trees could prevent flooding. These trees can absorb the excess water for example.
Cutting of trees and not deforestrating... and they do not plant trees or other ecological things.
plant more trees... it will help a lot...
Well they don't necessarily prevent them but they do help them, as they suck up the water. Hope i helped :)
there will be more landslides as trees will not be there to hold land in place. flooding as trees won't be there to soak up the water, and more co2 because trees get rid of it.
Deforestation means cutting down of trees. So if there r no trees there is no word called environment. This is the way deforestation effect the environment
stop cutting down trees or if you want to cut down trees cut some of them and wait for them to grow then cut other trees!!
To prevent flooding in your area, you can take steps such as building proper drainage systems, maintaining waterways, and avoiding construction in flood-prone areas. Additionally, planting trees and creating green spaces can help absorb excess water and reduce the risk of flooding.
437 437 what does that have to do with habitat destruction
There are many ways how humans can contribute to floods...one way could be cutting down trees. Trees help control floods, without trees...the space is cleared and the flood is faster, with soil (can also make an ugly mudslide/flood)
"Hello, people cutting trees!"
cutting down trees can make floods worse because the soil absorbs the water, water on the leaves evaporates and does not reach the ground, the roots take in the water and the braches stops the water reaching the ground
