Healthy diet & exercise
An estimated 1 in every 250 world-wide.
Many female teens are getting this disease and many girls are too~there is no exact number
Roughly 1 in every 250 teens are predicted to be anorexic. About 2% of teens are bulimic. (Note - Throwing up forcefully even once can qualify a person as bulimic.)
I think that celebrities become anorexic, because when they were children, or teens, their hero or heroins were anorexic, and their anorexic now. But maybe it is because they don't think they are skinny enough (which of course every celeb is), and try to go on a regular diet, but end up going anorexic. And regular girls see them doing it, so they go anorexic, and it just passes down generation to generation, and it gets worse and worse each century.
All teens are concerned about their appearance and many of them think they are "fat" when they're not. While many teens be concerned about their weight, anorexia is the extreme and is considered a psychiatric condition. These articles clarify the behaviors that may indicate an eating disorder, including anorexia: http://www.gagazine.com/how-to-tell-if-your-teen-has-anorexia/ AND http://www.med.umich.edu/yourchild/topics/eatdis.htm
An estimated 1 in every 250 people is anorexic, or has anorexia-like tendencies.
I guess if they tease them then they are just jealous of them. For Example, If someone teased you because YOU were anerexic, you would not appreciate it but you would know they were just jealous. Although I must admit, the anorexic teenager, should probably get some help to try and gain weight, believe me I would know. I know a girl who stopped eating and went anorexic, she then got very sick and almost died! Lucky they got her to a hospital in time. Trust me, that person should not be jealous because they should know if they were anorexic, they have the chance to die. The anorexic girl could also die. Therefore, if you were a good enough friend, you would get her some help.
Teens
Yes absolutely. The majority of teens getting into trouble with the law and becoming teen parents, they grew up without a dad present. That kind of says it all.
Teens do not go out wearing diapers without pants. In fact, many teens do not wear diapers unless they are suffering from a mental disability.
yes, some weight loss camps for teens do also accept younger children. it really depends on the camp and whether or not they will want to take in younger teens.
I book that I have been seeing alot of is: Weight Loss Confidential: How Teens Lose Weight and Keep It Off - and What They Wish Parents Knew. If you search this book there are numerous reviews.
