it may be that your ink is low, or maybe paper jam even if you don't see it, it could also be a scanner error which you will need to turn your printer off and go onto settings then get it off scanner and put it on printer.

∙ 10y agohi, i have recently tried to hook up my epson stylus D92 with my new laptop, but it wont work, it just says connection problem, i have downloaded all relevant software and replaced ink as there wasnt any, but all that happend is the ink light flashses and the same message pops up about connection, the printer worked fine on previous laptop, any help would be really appreciated, thank you

A dual-bay ink jet printer is designed to not print unless both bays have cartridges inserted. If you aren't printing color documents, you can leave an empty color cartridge in the color ink bay and the printer will work because all printing (even color) includes the B&W cartridge.

well i don't think its the printer that's the problem it could be the computer that's the problem so all you have to do is get a new computer and than see what happens

Check for paper jams. Instruct computer to cancel all print jobs then reset printer memory by unplugging printer from electric outlet, wait 10 seconds and plugging back in. If it still doesn't work, check the following: Make sure paper trays are installed correctly. Do you have sufficient ink/toner? Are ink/toner cartridges installed correctly? Is printer cable connected correctly? Is printer cable good? They can short out. Is the printer designed to work with your operating system? Is correct driver installed? Is the printer set as the default printer? Do you know printer is functional? Try connecting printer to another computer.
