If a object with little volume floats on water its density is less than water. But should consider to avoid effects of surface tension
Density is defined by how compact a particular substance is. In the case of the density of water verses the human body, your body is slightly less dense than water that is why humans can float.
Salt water has higher density than the body of a person who floats on it, but the person's body may sink in less dense fresh water.
no it will decrease, if you piggy back someone in water you will see that the weight is lighter than usual
A body whose total density is greater than that of water will sink in water;that is, if it's not supported, it will continuously drift lower.A body whose total density is less than that of water will float in water; that is,it will sink only partially, and will then remain on the surface and sink no lower.A body whose total density is exactly equal to that of water will have "neutral buoyancy",and will "float submerged" so to speak. That is, none of it will remain above the surface, but once submerged, it will neither rise nor sink further, but will maintain the depth at whichit is placed.
it's because the density may be greater than the body of water that is why the stone sink...

i think it's because liquids have less density than solids, and the body is lighter in liquid.
the density of your body is lower than water....:)
The uman body floats in water because its density is just under that of water.
Many gases produce in body of human. When the man die the water enter the human body and there is no way for air to diffuse out of the human body .As the gasesare lighter so they try to diffuse out of the water due to this the dead body floats on water

There is oxygen in the body which is lighter than water thus the body rising up to the surface of the water

Because...our body has density. The amount of mass in a certain volume of matter is a property called density...the density of our body is less than the water that is why we float on water. But it's just a little less!
Actually it is the change that affect both. We can float because our density is less denser than the density of the water in that place. Salt for example increases the density of water... But when you exhale, you lose air and sink lower because thanks to the air you ware floating a bit more, and so you will sink until a new density of your body is formed with the loss of that air and that density is "lower" than the first one. lower = deeper, because the difference between the density's isn't as great as it was. Just imagine an air balloon on water and compare it with a stone on the water. I hope this was helpful.
Drinking water is beneficial for the health. Also it will help in losing the weight.
Yes, since the density of air is less than the density of water, a buoyant object in air is buoyant in water. In any body of water that is exposed to the air, in fact, said object would escape the body of water entirely.
