Maybe. Scientist found a calendar from the Mayans, and it is over hundreds of years old. The Mayans had a calendar and predictions about the world. Scientist discovered that the Mayans predicted that the world would end on 2012. Hundreds of years ago, the Mayans predicted that astronauts would land on the moon, and as many years passed by, we have astronauts that landed on the moon! So if their prediction was right, does this mean that their prediction of the world ending on 2012 is going to be true also?....

Copernicus predicted that the moon looked smaller
President John F. Kennedy famously predicted that America would have a man on the moon before the end of the 1960s in a speech given on May 25, 1961. This vision led to the Apollo space program and ultimately the successful moon landing in 1969.

It was predicted that the Saint Louis Arch would last more than 100 years. As of 2014, the arch is about 45 years old.
Tides can be predicted using mathematical models based on the gravitational forces of the moon and sun. Moon phases can be predicted based on the moon's orbit around the Earth and the relative positions of the sun, Earth, and moon. By understanding these celestial mechanics, scientists can accurately forecast tides and moon phases that have not yet occurred.

Renowned science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke predicted in a 1945 magazine article that "a rocket will one day reach the moon." His prediction proved accurate with the Apollo 11 mission in 1969.
