The strings could be old warped, frayed, stretched, etc. One could purposely change the tuning of all the strings to achieve a desired alteration. The piano could be amplified with microphone(s) and distored with the amplifier.
Some people use amps to change its quality. I've seen them do that before.
No, they should have the same sound quality as any of the other notes.
they are 100% handmade and amongst the best sound quality out of any piano. Bosendorfers in my opinion are better for similar money.
In the grand piano, the soundboard is placed horizontally facing up, and thus you get a feel that the sound rises up and surrounds you, filling the whole room. Additionally, because grand pianos are generally larger (longer strings and bigger soundboard) than uprights, the sound volume is bigger. The soundboard is placed vertically. Because in the upright piano, sound comes out at the back and the back of upright piano is almost always placed against the wall, sound go into the wall and bounce off to you, so you get the feel that the sound comes straight to you making subtle control of musical expression more difficult. Some high quality tall upright pianos may have a bigger sound volume and better quality sound than extremely small lower priced baby grand pianos.
Is this electric or acoustic? Changing the strings can give it a brighter sound, try experimenting with different gauge strings. If its electric, pickups can change the sound alot. Effects can also change the sound and what amp you have can also work.
They both sound like a piano.
What mixes with the sound of the voices ? Subject : The sound of the piano. Correction is welcome, Thank.
pianos need to be played by hitting the keys to make sound from the piano
In the movie Twilight, a Schimmel grand piano was used for the iconic scene, where Edward Cullen plays "Bella's Lullaby." The Schimmel piano was chosen for its elegant design and rich sound quality, which complemented the romantic atmosphere of the scene.
No, nothing can compare to a grand piano.
Because It is the vibration of the strings inside the piano that produces the sound of the piano.
The harpsicord is the father of the piano (forte). It is a percution instrument, because you hit the keys, but the sound wave comming out has the quality of a string instrument, which is very important for the harmonics of the harpsicord. Generaly, anything you can do on a piano, you can do on a harpsicord as well.
