The best way to live your faith in service to others is to follow Jesus who came to do the will of his Father - Before he went to the cross he said,
" not my will, but thine, be done."
(Luke 22.42)
And the will of the Father is that we serve him first and foremost, as Jesus told us in Matthew 22.
37. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38. This is the first and great commandment.
To serve others is the next commandment:
39. And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
