I use a cheap plastic turkey baster and suck it out
What I use is a cheap plastic turkey baster that I bought at Wal-Mart ( it didn't take me as long as I thought to empty the engine coolant reservoir on my Ford Explorer )
The repair manual reads...7.8 to 13.2 qts.
The automatic transmission is an A4LD in a 1991 Ford Explorer
Where is the drain for the coolant on the radiator of a 2002 Ford Explorer sport (v6). Thanks.
Ford Explorer was created in 1991.
The transmissions from 1991 - 1994 are the same. So the 1991 transmission will not fit a 1996 explorer.
Yes! The 1991-1994 Ford Explorer transmissions are interchangeable.
I use a cheap plastic turkey baster that I bought at wallmart and suck the contents out of the coolant reservoir ( it doesn't take as long to do as I thought it would )
According to the 2000 Ford Explorer Owner Guide : The engine coolant capacity is 14.9 liters ( 15.7 quarts )
Actually , what I did was go and buy a cheap plastic turkey baster and used that to suck the coolant out of the tank - it took less time than I figured
I believe that is ( 19.3 U.S. gallons ) in a 1991 Ford Explorer 4 door
I dont see why not.
