It is possible to interconnect them by referencing one sheet from another. Using the name of a sheet, followed by the exclamation mark and a cell reference you can refer to a cell on another sheet. So if Sheet1 was active and you wanted to refer to the cell C5 on Sheet3, you could do it like this:
