Depends on where the printer is located.
If you can have it connected to the router, on the router install a print manager.
On each computer connected to the router using your LAN, install the printer using the print manager as the target.
Through a hub or router- Connect the printer to the parallel port then make sure you have network communication between the two machines and install the printer on the USB machine as a network printer. To put it a little more clearly. 1. Network the two computers which can be done quite cheaply using a 4 port USB network hub. 2. Attached the printer to either computer - all PC's have a parallel port. 3. Share the printer from the PC is it attached to. Hope this helps!
You need to turn the sharing option on in the printer properties and add the group Everyone to allow printing (or create an account for another computer, but because you have only two computers in your local network you might not need to do it). After that you have to find out the computers with the printer attached ip: Start->Run->cmd, in the cmd window type ipconfig and press Retutn/Enter. After you know the ip address, switch to the computer wich doesn't have a printer and again Start->Run->\\ip_address (for instance \\192.168.1.3). And press Enter, after you will see shared folder and the printer which you want to connect to. Double click on it, it will ask you to install drivers for the printer, you have agree. After this you can use printer on both computers. In order everything works properly you have to change firewall options (windows firewall and dedicated you have one). You have to check the option File and Printer Sharing.
This depends on your operating system and the existence of a network 1) if you have a non USB printer you can use an A/B switch box 2) If you have windows on a networked conputer you can share the printer in control panels 3) you can use a wifidongle and make the printer wifi. Then everyone can connect
This is the definition of a computer network. Devices such as routers and bridges create logical network subnets and network domains that computers, printers, and other devices can connect with to join the network.
What exactly are you trying to ask?
The printer works by sending out words and pictures that are stored into the computer through paper and ink.
Through Computers.
An email can be passed through a minimum of 1 computer. The mail can be sent through own computer too. The maximum number is infinity number of computers.
Yes, you if you printer has network interface (NIC). u can connect them through routers or switch
A printer
I do it through a router. My cord is plugged into the router. The router is plugged into the printer. In theory we could download the stuff to connect the other computer to the printer through the wireless connection but since it is hooked up directly to a different printer, we don't bother.
