The easy Answer: if you are serious, just tell Him, and not just once. Someone, somewhere, somehow will help you to do this. If you have access to a New Testament, read the Gospel according to John. If you don't, once again someone, somewhere, somehow will help you to do this: it may even be by you meeting Jesus in a vision.

We talk to Jesus Christ through prayer, but most importantly through members of His family.
Prayer is "not" solely for God, people can pray to the Mother of Jesus Christ (The Virgin Mary [if they feel comfortable doing so and believe in the assumption of Mary into heaven]), and the saints (if they feel comfortable doing so and believe that saints are not dead, but alive).

If you're truly a Christian, then you would hate even the thought of sinning.
Sin = anything you think, do, or say that displeases God.
