When putting a marble overlay over tile, like on a countertop or floor, you should first make sure the tile is in good condition and very clean or else it is not an optimal surface for the marble to adhere to. You should use a high flex thin set mortar like Super Flex to adhere it.
I wouldn't recommend it. Most wall tiles are very smooth and wouldn't have any grit for the thin-set to adhere to.

To effectively put tile over existing tile for a flooring or backsplash update, follow these steps: Clean and prepare the existing tile surface by removing any dirt, grease, or debris. Roughen the surface of the existing tile with sandpaper to help the new tile adhere better. Apply a bonding primer to the existing tile to create a strong base for the new tile. Use a high-quality thin-set mortar to adhere the new tile to the existing tile surface. Place the new tile carefully, ensuring proper spacing and alignment. Allow the mortar to dry completely before grouting the tiles. Apply grout between the tiles and wipe off excess grout with a damp sponge. Seal the grout to protect it from stains and moisture. By following these steps, you can effectively update your flooring or backsplash by putting tile over tile.

Heavy duty shop vac. If it was not over 2 in. don't worry about it, if it is in a 3 in. or 4 in. drain. If it is bigger than that and the shop vac. will not get it, then get sewer machine and send it down from your stool opening at push it all the way to the main sewer. I would let a plumber do the sewer machine though.
if the drain is broken or wont drain, you have to jack hammer it up and replace p trap and pipe, then pour concrete and then do tile..Is that what u wanted? If you want to know about how the pipe itself is installed, it would be easier to go to home depot and just look at one of the how to books.
