and if he asks you if you really like him you must absolutely tell your honesty to him

another answer: Emma: In sixth grade, some boys arent always thinking about girls yet although some probably are. It can be cringey asking a boy if they like you and if youre shy like me you will probably wait for a boy to ask you out. If you really want to know, drop subtle hints like get a good friend to ask him who he likes without mentioning you. If he says another girl, he might still like you a bit but its unlikely. If he says no one it could just be that hes too shy to say and you should definatley tell him you like him once you are friends with him. This has all worked for me and i am happy to help!

This is coming from a shy 8th grade boy. There's this girl in the 8th grade that i like, but I'm not sure if she likes me. I try to flirt with her, but a lot of the time it ends up being a short conversation. Anyway, if the boy is likes you, he will probably try to flirt (like me). Also, you can tell if he likes you if he seems to be looking at you a lot, then acting busy doing something else when you look at him. If you are in some classes together, try sitting near him, scoot closer (but don't be right in his face, that would be plain weird). Try to get to know him better.

There's this game that kids in my grade play that ends up getting a lot of kids dates. If you hang out in groups during recess and everyone is talking ( and the girl you like is in that group), try to bring up a conversation about who you think likes who. This will eventually lead up to people asking each other who they like (hopefully). That's the time to suggest that everyone shares who they like. If the boy you like refuses to say who they like, then it narrows it down to someone in that group because that person would then know.

I know, some of you reading this are probably thinking that this is lousy advice, but this is based on my experience.

I'm a girl in the 8th grade too, and I'm having the same kind of issue with this guy named keegan. He deliberately tries to push me out of my seat at lunch but when i fall on the floor, he looks away and blushes. I assume this is how guys flirt, however i may be wrong. Another thing he does is text me. I have literally started texting him at 2:45pm until 10:00pm! Last one- he steals my stuff. Every day its a constant battle to find my wallet (now i always know where to look) or my phone. He flaunts them in front of me then takes off running in the opposite direction and yells "come get it". I count that as flirting. Unfortunately, my best friend likes him too.

Well, you can tell if he starts glancing your way more and more often. If he hangs where you hang, if he smiles at you, or tries to be by you. If he likes you it gets more and more obvious as time goes by. He might stare, or even bump into you on purpose. Good luck!

Well try to be near him sometimes, and bump into him, and yes some of that stuff up there is true, he starts looking at you, and you looked at him back, and he wonders why is that girl looking at me, and you smile, and he smiles. And maybe he wants to meet you. Dont follow him home or anything. Or you can take another route(depending if you live pretty close to each other) and meet him up on the other side or corner and almost run into him. And if your headed the same way you can sit down and talk. If you like him ask him his name get to know him(don't be shy). When you become friends hang a bit with him. And another option if you want to find him at the corner, and he is either going too slow or lives on that block or side of the street. Just know your town well and don't get lost. Now to answer the question, when you become friends for a couple days, weeks, months. You ask him if she can be walked home(depending on afterschool activities you have) and you ask him you want to talk to him after the afterschool thing, and you start walking and you talk for a while, and men like cool, cute, smart, and funny girls like you or some other thing. You want to give him a good look on your face and say sweetly see you tomorrow. Or if you want to give him a hug then just plain do it and go to your house. And he would seem dazed for a moment, and wonder why you would do that. When the next day comes ask him if he can walk you home again. 3 days later try to ask him out, if you asks you out first of all your in luck, but what would you say, you would probably say what date and time and more importantly "Where" and you would want to say(if it works with your schedule, weekends are better to plan it) yes, and that's probably going to mean its a friend date or date.
