Well first you have to have all the gym badges, then you go to the Pokemon League. Then after you defeat the elite 4, you go to where the champion is. When you get there,

you find that N has defeated the Champion already and now N is the champion. Then N's castle rises out of the ground around the Pokemon league, then a stairway appears that you take to N's castle so that you can stop him.
