Can you believe in the devil and still call yourself an atheist?

"The Devil" is an imaginary, supernatural being- a religious construction originally based on a fallen angel. An atheist does not believe in supernatural gods or other beings.
It would be highly unusual to find someone who calls him/herself a true atheist, but also believes that "the Devil" exists.

You are still an atheist since you do not believe in a god or gods. Belief in a life after death doesn't necessarily change this unless you think that some supernatural being is responsible for it. Most atheists believe that death is simply the end of life. There is nothing after death.
