How do you block your profile from people who want to add you as a friend on Facebook?

Click account then privacy settings...at the bottom of the page there should be a red thingy and beside it says block lists then click that, then type the persons name..push block and it will come up as people who have that name and it will say block :D

Go to 'Settings'. Click on 'Privacy settings' then click on :'Search'

In 'search results' under the heading 'People who find me in a search can see': make sure the box marked 'My Friend List' is unchecked (without a tick).

Log on to Facebook, and at the corner top right, hover over "Settings" (it's right next to your name). Select "Privacy Settings" and it will bring you to a page where you can block whoever you want.

It appears that that is impossible - it's a compromise, you either add people you don't know as "friends" to grow your mafia, or you keep a limited mafia size and your privacy.

I thought adding Mafia friends to a limited profile would do the trick, but there is no limitation of any kind.

Would love to hear it if I am wrong.

You can change your profile to a level of private so that no one can search for you or block specific people from even being able to bring your profile up in a search.

You can "friend" someone to grow your crew and then "unfriend" them and keep your crew size.

below where you update your status there is a padlock, click that and click customise. you can have the status show to all friends yet block certain people from seeing it or set it to show just to 1 person. whatevr you choose.
