my hair always used to be frizzy when i braided it..... Recently i got it my hair cut along with all of my damaged hair cut off it isn't frizzy anymore when i braid it.
Also you might have dry hair you can buy hair products so it isn't dry or do oil soaks

It gets pretty frizzy because your choking your hair with it so your basically killing it... how I know this? I did it before.. also if you braid your hair into like ten braids it gets really frizzy if you leave it in for like 3 to 5 days. if that happens wash your hair (without loads of soap, just a little conditioner and shampoo) and braid it into a regular braid after letting it dry, it helps trust me I DID IT...
