How can you change text tones on Samsung T528G?

Go into settings (bottom left of your menu screen), then once your in settings, click on sound profiles (top of the list), then you will have all your different sound profiles, eg. Normal, Silent, Driving, Meeting etc. Scroll down to any profile (the one you use most, such as Normal) then press edit, and there will be all your sound settings to adjust, such as Voice call ringtone (just your normal ringtone) Message Alert Tone, Volume etc. click change, now adjust to your requirements, click save and then you are done.

Havin the same problem man, if you figure it out, lemme know.

I had to look at the user manual to figure this out:

go to Menu->Settings->Sound Profile->Normal (Edit)->Message (Second Tab)

There you can change the tone itself, the volume and the alert type.

Hope this helps

..this is true when u enter the message tab u can select one of the default tones. if you have one that u downloaded or received through message than u can select that by scrolling all the way down and selecting other tone.

Open:

Menu > Settings > Sound Profile

Click on the double-arrows of the sound profile that you wish to adjust

In the top-right corner of the new window it should say "Call" with a drop-down arrow. In order to adjust the message/text sounds just click the drop-down arrow and select "Message"

I just got this phone last night and it took me a little bit to figure out how to do this as well.

go to menu then settings and then sound profiles go to outdoor in the top rite corner there is a pull down menu click it and push message then set your sound
